Booking a Celebrant

It is advisable to book your marriage celebrant as soon as you set a date for your wedding. Once this is done we can arrange to meet to complete the necessary paperwork and provide you with a ceremony guide with a selection of vows, readings and sample ceremonies to help you with your ideas.

Naming Ceremonies

These ceremonies are an alternative rite of passage to a christening or baptism and are growing in popularity. The ceremony is usually held in the comfort of your own home or in a park setting. The child receives an A4 parchment certificate with an area on the back for your guests' signatures as a memento of the day. The Guardians (or Godparents) also receive a certificate. We can include blessings or ritual into these ceremonies.

Re-Affirmation Ceremonies

Why not re-affirm your vows on a special anniversary? This can be done in the privacy of your home or a venue of your choice.

You will receive an A4 parchment certificate as a keep sake of your re-affirmation of vows.

My Marriage and Commitment Services includes:

• A personal visit with you in your home, accommodation or meeting venue to discuss your ideas and plans and how we can best develop them to meet your needs and wishes.
• We work though your ideas about the words and style of your ceremony and I will leave you with a booklet of ceremony suggestions and readings you may also like to choose from.
• The Notice of Intended Marriage can also be completed at this time (must be at least one calendar month prior to your wedding date) for legal marriages.
• Together we'll create a relaxed, personalised ceremony that you both feel comfortable and happy with.
• On your wedding day my role is to guide and support you, ensure your family and friends participate and enjoy the occasion, and perform your special ceremony with the legal requirements of marriage where required.
• Friends and family are welcome to perform parts of the ceremony, through readings and rituals, provided I perform the necessary legal components with you.
• I supply my own 50watt portable MIPRO PA system for larger gatherings or as required.
